First polish PI4 beacon SR9RMF on air !

Please update your notes with another polish beacon - this time SR9RMF/B - first Polish NGB PI4 beacon constructed by group of SP9RNS club station.

Beacon is located at Przehyba mountain 1175 m.a.s.l in KN09GL62me square.

Equipment at test stage now, official start according to sysop is planned for June 30. 2018 but it's already operational and audible in my QRA, some 342km N-W.

At this moment beacon is using half wave vertical, will be changed horizontal antenna later.

"Summer Portable" #JO84MA activation

To ensure everyone having  JO84 worked on 4m, I am planning short portable operation from JO84MA square during my short holidays in Czarne (JO83MR)

Activity will take place SUNDAY coming weekend June 17. 2018 morning hours.
I will make trip some 40km North and plan to stay close to small lake Siadło, near Świeszynek village. But this to be determined after arrival. 

Because it will be pure portable operation I will use 66Ah battery, IC-7300 and 4ele YU7EF Yagi. 
Operation will be limited in time, possibly as long as laptop battery will stay alive :-)

If no internet I will CQ always 1st, 15sec period on standard frequencies 70.154 FT8, and 70.174 MSK144.

Because of no exact time, I will post the info prior to leaving JO83.

Baltic Sea 2018 VHF/UHF dxpedition

As You probably noticed DL group is very active now from Kihnu Island, Estonia #KO18XD, and they will activate more "Sea" squares during the trip.

Great sigs on 4m MS, and 6m tropo.

 Unfortunately there were some RX issues yesturday, but found and corrected as today June 13.

Long burns at morning today resulted 45second full QSO.

New DXCC @4m - 4X1GA "out of the blue"

What a Sunday it was! Resting after JO81 square dxpedition, drinking cold beer, watching TV and popping in/out the shack to see if any Es around, found that SV's and South EU working Arcady 4X1GA.

Then Arcady reported S5 station has been decoded and some minutes after HA3GR as "worked".
Although HA3 is still "another world" in the terms of distance for Es decided to look for some moments on the screen.
  
Short check in the meantime - DX-maps did not show any significant clouds due Middle East from here, not even from Hungary.
And after few minutes 4X1GA popped on the screen with rising signal and QSO resulted.

Next moments his signal peaked to CW level and Arcady qsy'ed 70.170MHz and worked DJ5MN with 549 signal here, and me with fast QSB at the end.

I have plan to be active from Bornholm Island during my fishing trip. Activation will take place June 11-12 only, so better be vigilant. After fishing, approx 16:00 UTC I will be active on 4m and HF from JO75.

Please note that sometimes Weather stuff on Bornholm, especially close to Nexo can make much noises on 70MHz, so I can be deaf a little. But be patient, will do my best.

SP3RNZ/P #JO81RX - R27 club meeting in Jarocin.

Another JO81 activation on 70MHz will take place coming weekend, Saturday, June 09.2018

I will be QRV during our R27 club meeting from Jarocin, JO81RX using IC-7300 and 4 or 6 ele Yagi.

No exact info about takeoff, but as usual I will do my best to get as many of You in log as I can.

All modes, CW/SSB,MSK144, FT8, or any other usable - whatever You call them - human or not, most important is to get the QSO in the log.

Expected start : TBA on KST but 9UTC should be OK. QRT probably 15-17UTC.
